THE EVENT 100 YARD DASH
THE
STAMPEDE
The
Stampede will be a 100 yard dash held at Houston Northcutt Blvd. near
Whole Foods Market at 10am on Saturday March 13, 2010. There will be a girls race and a guys race this year. Runners
must
wear 3 inch heels, which must be attached at the finish line to receive
the $5,000 prize. Charleston Magazine will be presenting $1,000
to the best costume winner at the end of the race as well.

Rules:
- A Stiletto
a) has a slim tapered heel
b) does not have a wedge
c)
pump does not go past the ankle (no boots)
- Heels must be a minimum of 3”
- Heels will be measured and approved at the
registration tent at Gwynn's on Friday, March 12.
- Shoes may not be taped on to the
foot.
- Heels may not be taped on to the
shoe.
- Heel must be attached to shoe and shoes on feet
at end of race.

THE
DIVA'S IN TRAINING
The Stiletto Stampede will be
featuring the Diva's in Training Kids Run which will also be
a 100 yard dash that will begin at 9:50am on Stiletto Stampede Race
Day. All kids will be winners!

FINISH
FESTIVAL
The finish festival will be held
directly after the race in the Whole Foods parking lot (923 Houston
Northcutt Blvd.) and will include entertainment, vendors, food, souvenirs, refreshments and lots of FUN!
AWARD
CEREMONY
The winners both male and female will be awarded at
the Finish Festival following the Race. The prize will
include $2,500 cash and a $2,500 gift certificate to Gwynn's rewarded to the first male and the first female finishers.
COSTUME CONTEST
Included in the award ceremony is a chance for participants to strut their stuff
for a chance to win $1,000 in Charleston Magazine's costume contest.
Judges will make their decision based on the most original and
fashion-forward racer. Contest will take place on the main stage.
Must register for the Stiletto Stampede to win. During the
race, for safety purposes, please make sure no fabric or other items
drag or hang to the ground.
**Stiletto Ball**
On
March 11th there will be a Stiletto Ball at the Charleston Harbor
Resort & Marina located at 20 Patriots Point Road, Mt. Pleasant, SC
29464. It will be held in the new pavilion from 6:00 -
9:00pm. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased when you
register through active.com. Entertainment will be provided by
the East Coast Party Band and Firefly Vodka will be serving stiletto martinis.
